Although we have been able to run quick and accurate blood tests for many years since IDEXX® first came to us with the VETTEST® Biochemistry machine, we have always strived to improve our reliability, efficiency and cost effectiveness when providing in-house blood sampling of your pets.
Over the past 10 years we have put in place the best quality machines which help us get same day results with the accuracy which we thoroughly rely on in practice.
We now are able to process your pet’s blood sample 4x faster which is very helpful when your pet is in having surgery and we need the results before we go ahead with an anaesthetic. We can do more specific liver tests; get more accurate Thyroid Function tests and a more comprehensive overview of your pet and their health. You’re probably thinking “fancy machines mean higher vet bills?” This is not true. In fact we are able to provide a more in depth service at the same costs and able to run more in-house tests than before.
