- RVN Senior Nurse
Ive been a registered veterinary nurse since 2008 and have had the privilege of working at Borden Lane for over 15 years. My passion for animal care, especially when it comes to cats, has always been a driving force for my career. As a mum of two wonderful boys, I now work part time, balancing my time between my family and doing what I love – caring for animals and supporting their health and wellbeing.

Rebecca Ballard
RVN Head Veterinary Nurse
I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2019 and have been working full-time at Borden Lane since December 2020. My love for animals has been strong ever since I was young, and becoming a veterinary nurse was always my goal. I truly love what I do and am dedicated to providing the best care for your pets.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking my spaniel, Blossom, on long walks in the woods or along the beach, and afterward, there’s nothing better than snuggling up with her on the sofa and diving into a good book.

RVN Veterinary Nurse
I am a qualified veterinary nurse, having graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2019. Since February 2023, I’ve been working full-time at Borden Lane Vets, where I’m dedicated to providing excellent care for all animals, particularly cats. As a passionate cat lover, I also offer professional cat-sitting services to ensure every feline is well looked after while their owners are away. Outside of work, I stay active and focused through synchronized swimming, a sport I’ve come to love for its combination of grace and discipline.

RVN Veterinary Nurse
Qualified in Veterinary Nursing in 2013, I bring ten years of experience, dedication, and a genuine love for animal care. Since joining the Borden Lane team in 2022, I’ve immersed myself in delivering compassionate patient care, building strong client relationships, and providing vital medical support. Outside of work, life stays exciting with two wonderful children and our lively Dalmatian, Crystal—who is both a beloved family member and a daily reminder of my passion for animals.

I’m a registered veterinary nurse, proudly qualified from the Kent School of Veterinary Nursing in 2021. Since October 2023, I’ve been part of the Borden Lane Vets team, where I work full time, bringing my love for animals—and especially for cats—to every day on the job. Alongside nursing, I run a pet portrait business, blending my passion for art with my devotion to animals. As a dedicated cat nurse with three cats of my own, I find joy in making every visit a comforting experience for our feline friends!

- RVN Veterinary Nurse
Some of you may recognise me from when I worked at Borden Lane Vets many years ago. Since, I worked for the RSPCA as an inspector as I have always loved to help the animals who have not had a very good start in life. Animals are my passion and have always surrounded myself with cats, g-pigs, dogs and more. Since having my child I was so pleased to have the opportunity to come back to Borden Lane on Saturday mornings to help the vets and nurses keep the practice running smoothly.
